Prof. Dr. Argiro Vatakis

Dr. Argiro Vatakis is an assistant professor for the Psychology Department at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences and director of the Multisensory and Temporal Processing Laboratory. She is the Editor-in-Chief for the journal Timing & Time Perception and Associate Editor for the APA journal Psychology & Neuroscience. She is also the co-founder of Timing Research Forum, an open society for promoting multidisciplinary research on timing and time perception. She holds a BA in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach, CA, USA and a PhD in Experimental Psychology from the University of Oxford, UK. She has also conducted research at Boeing Fantom Works, CA, USA, the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics, Tuebingen, Germany, and the Department for Biological Psychology, Institute for Psychology II, Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg, Germany.
