Iva Vassileva is working as an architect in Greece thus being involved in numerous Nightscape Urban Design Projects in Greece, Cyprus and Bulgaria. After her Diploma in Architecture at the University of Dresden she completed her Master Studies at the ETH Zurich on the topic of Urban Night Appearance and Identity of Public Space. She was a workshop leader in “Lights in Alingsas” in 2008, the “1st Lighting Workshop” in Athens, Greece in 2011 and "Rethink the Night" on Kea island in 2014-2017. She received a honourable mention in the category "Best Built Work of the years 2010-2014" in "DOMES 2015 Awards" for the project "Residence & Office, Kea". From the winter semester of 2017 she is teaching at the Department of Architecture of the University of Patras.
