Getting There

Kea Island can be reached by ferry from the Lavrion port, which can be easily approached from Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos" by taxi or public transport. The distance between Athens Airport and Lavrion Port is 25km.

Travel by bus to Lavrion

 

 

Suburban (KTEL) buses depart from the Arrival Levels, between Exits 2 and 3.

Buses to Markopoulo leave from Athens airport usually every hour. At the bus station of Markopoulo passengers have to take the bus to the port of Lavrion. Buses to Lavrion are departing every 30 min.

Estimated time: Can vary according to waiting time on stations and road traffic.

Taxis are waiting at the Arrivals Level of the airport between Exits 2 and 3.

Estimated cost:  50 euros (05:00-24:00) & 70 euros (during the night, 24:00-05:00)

Get on the ferry to Kea

 

 

Ferries depart from Lavrion every day and it takes about one hour from Lavrion port to Korissia port in Kea.

Ferries schedule is subject to changes. Check out exact timetables in the beginning of September. Weather conditions can lead to modification of announced timetables. Please contact the travel agency in due time.
